I'm taking everything back i said about Interpol's new album because I love it. there's sort of a funny story about that that involves listening to the Killers instead.

I am so thankful that God has given me friends who are supportive and refreshing! I can only hope I would be the same to them.

Cooking Indian food is fun and delicious.

I am flying to LA on Saturday and staying for 10 days.

a friend asserted a few hours ago that he didn't believe in awkwardness. that was a challenging thought because i realized i bask in it, having accepted it as a universally unavoidable experience. wow, what if i could really just not let that control the situation. it seems like it would take some courage i may not have at the moment. i should try it, though. just glide over it and don't even bother with it. maybe it it doesn't really exist.

I wonder what it would feel like not to eat for a few of days. I mean, I'm not going to die. Understanding hunger seems like a decent thing for one to do. It's sad; it's not fasting because I don't know if I have the faith for that...it's failed before. Anyway, I think I'm going to start that on Monday.

update on listening to new interpol: whaaaat were they thinking? is it a joke?

i remember when i used to want to be an astronomer when I was in 4th grade. i was really intrigued by the stars and space. I went to the planetarium the other day and even though it was a museum mostly for kids, i really enjoyed it. i need to go back to watch one of the shows...especially the black hole one. it really brings perspective to contemplate the cosmos.
